SHORT COURSE: PRINCIPLES OF PARQUET AND FURNITURE COATINGS

 
The presentation will focus on the principles of furniture and parquet coatings and their different requirements for the application. The short course will provide an overview of the European market for wood coatings, different paint and suitable resin technologies, coating procedure, coating lines and the most important test methods. The special aspect for the formulations of furniture and parquet coatings will be discussed as well as the curing and drying principles for coatings and substrate properties of wood. Finally, future developments in the field of parquet and furniture coatings are discussed.
