Polycarbamide resins for industrial direct-to-metal coatings applications

 
A new polycarbamide-isocyanate binder system was compared with 2K PU coatings in both DTM anticorrosive and topcoat formulations. Performance was similar, but with faster drying and considerably lower VOCs. Advantages were also found over polyaspartics.
