Novel di block copolymers for water resistant wood coatings

 
A new generation of di block copolymers, comprising of a polyethylene and acrylate chains, gives good adhesion to wood substrates whilst giving excellent water resistance. The chain entanglement mechanism gives highest level of adhesion so treatment is also very robust.
