03.12.2021 New hardener for ambient curing high heat resistant coatings Back Tools Bookmark Share Heat resistant coatings are used to form a permanent multiresistant layer on metallic substrates after application and curing for permanent protection and aesthetic aspects. Next to fire places also many industrial applications require a persistency against temperatures above +180°C. A formulation of a coating resistant to high temperature is state-of-the-art based on silicone resins (Methyl-Phenyl-Silicone-Resins) strong customer need is curing at room temperature and short timeframe of these coatings. With the completely new developed and patented hardener based on a special Silane/Siloxane technology it is the first time to achieve that goal. Next to that no reformulation work on the coating composition is necessary with the usage of this new hardener. The resistance to heat exposure remains on the same high level as the state-of-the-art curing process. It can be used for all kind of Methyl-Phenyl-Resins as well as for Silicone-Hybrid resins.
