17.05.2019 Microscopic dynamics characterization of coating at high temperature Back Tools Bookmark Share Characterizing Microscopic dynamics analysis of coating at high temperature is an important step in quality every new development or quality control. We use dynamic light scattering in the highly multiple scattering regime (Diffusing Wave Spectroscopy, DWS) to investigate the microscopic dynamics evolution of different coating materials during curing or drying at constant or increasing temperature (TR-250°C). We propose a new, non-invasive, cost-effective method. Several examples show the influence of the temperature on the curing or drying behaviour, which will allow the optimization of coating development and control.
