In line disperser technology enables new formulations

Inline dispersing machines allow time and cost savings and the development of formulations with higher quality and new characteristics. Particles are dispersed with the vacuum expansion method. It separates and singularises particles and disperses them instantaneously completely. Dispersions with particle sizes below 100 nm are reached. New functional layers based on nanotechnology with characteristics like easy-to-clean, anti-graffiti, scratch resistance, elasticity and transparency are produced this way. Extremely light fillers for heat-insulating coatings, extremely fine particles with high surface like graphene and microporous silica and pigments for pigment pastes are dispersed easily. Surfactants to wet particles and the associated defoamers are not required anymore. Higher shear rate and higher energy density reduce the temperature increase during dispersion below one degree.
