Green transformation for dispersing agents: Solvent and catalyst free synthesis of star shaped polymer dispersing agents

 
The European Green Deal intends to make Europe climate neutral by 2050, increase the economy through green technologies, and reduce pollution. The green transformation in chemical industry is therefore an urgent need, however large-scale production of auxiliary chemicals is still requiring petroleum-based precursors, solvents and hazardous catalyst. Denge Kimya envisions that green transformation in additives and auxiliary chemicals with no-harm components is possible. Our new product family of star shaped polymer based dispersing agents are designed as mimicking of natural polyamine with biodegradable arms that limiting use of petroleum products as well as hazardous catalyst. The polyamine core exhibits high modularity by the tunable charged groups that provide applicability for wide variety pigments such as carbon black and others. The tailor-made biodegradable arms are designed to support high stability for dispersion and excellent gloss for paint applications.
