Fillers are often overlooked in paint formulations, primarily seen as a cost-reducing component rather than a performance enhancer. However, since fillers make up for most of the formulation, their impact on paint properties deserves a closer examination. This study aims to optimise filler selection to enhance both paint performance and cost-effectiveness, offering valuable insights for formulation development.
