Enabling Sustainable Epoxy Resins

 
Epoxy resins are integral to the coatings industry. However, while these incumbent products continue to offer strong performance and cost benefits, concerns have been raised from civil society about the sustainability of the raw materials used in production. Renewable alternatives such as bio-based epichlorohydrin (ECH) offer a clear solution, but to achieve truly sustainable coatings, a more holistic and visionary approach is needed along the entire coatings supply chain.
