Construction chemistry in the 21st century - challenges and chances

 
Work processes in the construction industry are changing ever faster. The resulting challenges are often triggered by megatrends such as climate change, globalization or digitization and require new approaches in research and development, such as foresight methods, which will become essential in the future. The transfer of scientific results into practice must also be considerably accelerated. In addition, new communication and training concepts are needed for all actors along the value chain. However, the target groups are not only craftsmen, planners and builders, but also public builders and politicians. This article presents newly developed strategies and their implementation in practice.
