Benefits of finer particle size in UV inks and coatings quantified

 
The benefits that very small particle size pigments provide in a variety of graphics and design applications are considered. Gloss, chroma, transparency and strength can all be increased. Strategies to stabilise the small particles with improved dispersability and low viscosity are presented.
