IN-CAN PRESERVATIVES UNDER PRESSURE

The use of solvent-borne paints and coatings has been declining for years. The shift to water-borne formulations, which is good news for the environment and consumers, brings with it the challenge of how to make them durable. Products designed to accomplish this task are called in-can preservatives and are classified under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) as belonging to Product Type (PT) 6.
