CLOSING IN ON SOLVENTBORNE COATINGS

We prepared the paints in accordance with the "HDT experimental formulation" ( Table 2 ). Anticorrosive paints containing 10 % of pigment 2 and 3 proved to be unstable and led to the formation of gritty particles. Despite conducting various trials (changes in amount or type of dispersing agent), we were unable to achieve good paint stability and so did not test these paints.
