BiVO4-PIGMENTS AND COLOUR SPACE EXPANSION

Bismuth vanadate (BiVO 4 ) pigments and the lead chromates cover an a * area of approximately -7.5 up to 26 CIELab units, while the b * values reach up to 91 CIELab units, which enables very high colour saturation. The colour space of lead chromate pigments is built out of greenish pigments with orthorhombic modification and monocline mixed phase pigments consisting of PbCr 1-x S x O 4 , which form the largest a * area.
