Atcoat GmbH, a medium sized manufacturer of alkyd resins and powder polyester headquartered in Düren/Germany, has acquired the business and production facility of Bosig Chemie in Hamburg. The plant was closed by Bosig in August 2012. The acquisition enables Atcoat to expand its product portfolio toward acrylic resins, UV-resins and epoxy ester resins. "We are happy to continue the long lasting tradition and keep further developing and producing resins in Hamburg", said Atcoat CEO Dr Monika Schneider .
