Additive stabilises pigments

Byk Additives & Instruments has launched "Disperbyk-2152", a new wetting and dispersing additive with encapsulated aminic groups having pigment affinity. For an additive to achieve good deflocculation and stabilisation of pigments, the groups with pigment affinity must be highly effective. These are usually aminic and can react with the epoxy resin. The company has already presented an additive with encapsulated aminic groups with pigment affinity, in 2011; "Disperbyk-2152" is a further development of this.
