Of the various radiation-curing energy sources available, UV technology remains by far the most common. UV curing is well established for coatings on heat-sensitive substrates, such as wood, paper and plastics. It has expanded significantly into a multiplicity of other - and, even now, frequently less noticed - applications, such as metal, appliances, adhesives, outdoor uses, films, glass, glass fibres and composites, to name just a few.
