Environmentally compliant paints have come a long way since the 1990's and as the concept has grown in complexity, identifying sustainable paints and coatings is an increasing challenge for the industry. Some sustainability standards include complete life cycle assessment, others do not, because paints and their components can be used in many different applications and on many different substrates.
