Additives play a very important role in the formulation of liquid and powder coatings. Polymers alone cannot cover all the demands and performance features asked by the industry. But most additives are provided in liquid forms, so they are hardly ever compatible with powder. Therefore the little helpers for powder coatings should be provided in a solid form with a melting point beyond 50°C.
