In recent years the availability of high-power semiconductor light sources like diode lasers and light-emitting diodes (LED) has increased. The NIR region (800-1100 nm) has been applied for heatinduced material machining (e.g. laser welding, cutting) [5] and laser drying of printing inks. [6,7] Modulating the laser point of diode lasers into a line-focus with a homogeneous intensity profile allows the exposure of two-dimensional surfaces in a single scanning step [8,9,10,11] ( Figure 1 ).
