WORLD OF COLOUR

The use of egyptian blue has been documented since the 4th Dynasty. Researchers have discovered that the pigment emits radiation in the near-infrared range when exposed to light. The colour blue was first produced by early Egyptians. They created a permanent pigment which they used for their decorative arts. This pigment is called egyptian blue. It is one of the oldest artificial pigments.
