To start with the first question, Chem-Research, a market research company, studied German domestic demand for paints and surface coatings over the following three periods: "pre-crisis year", "crisis year" and "post-crisis year". It came to the surprising finding that in 2009, the crisis year of the Lehman crisis, demand for paints and coatings fell substantially, whereas in 2020 it is expected to grow substantially.
