a.Alkyd resin type: For formulating stoving fillers short-oil to medium-oil alkyd resin types are combined with amino-formaldehyde resins. Nowadays however, oil-free polyesters are increasingly being used. b. Cross-linking proportions: 70:30 is frequently used as the classical cross-linking proportion of alkyd resin to amino resin. However the proportions between 55:45 (hard and brittle) and 90:10 (elastic) are also used.
